A native of Louisville, Ky., Lesley-Patterson Marx received the B.A. degree in Fine Art, 1997, at Murray State University and the Masters of Fine Arts in studio art at the University of North Carolina, 2001. Following graduation, she served as an art instructor and gallery director at Watkins College of Art & Design in Nashville. She is a founding member of Plate Tone Printshop and currently teaches book arts and printmaking at University School of Nashville. Her work has been featured in several publications and exhibited locally and nationally.
